Anna Saunders joined the Eyewitness News team in December 2020 as a reporter.
She grew up in Princeton, West Virginia where she graduated from Princeton Senior High School in 2015.
Anna attended James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she studied journalism, political communication and history.
Upon graduation in 2019, she jumped right in to her first reporter job at WOAY-TV in Oak Hill, West Virginia. Her favorite stories from her time there include covering the World Scout Jamboree and paying tribute to WOAY broadcasting legend and former state legislator Shirley Love.
Anna’s excited to continue her journalism career in her favorite state and looks forward to telling the stories that matter most to you.
When she’s not out in the field reporting, Anna still enjoys being outdoors, hiking, biking, listening to music and spending time with friends and family.
