Education officials in Floyd County, Kentucky say a person not enrolled in school was taken into police custody after boarding a school bus Tuesday. (WCHS)
FLOYD COUNTY, Ky. (WCHS) —
Floyd County Schools officials said a person not enrolled as a student was taken into police custody Tuesday after boarding a school bus.

The person was “mistakenly believed to be a new student” and boarded bus 217, according to a letter from Floyd County Schools.
The letter said law enforcement was notified, and Prestonsburg police took the individual into custody.
“The bus was under the supervision of additional adult staff at the time,” the letter said. “No disruptive behavior was observed during the individual’s presence.”
