Classes have resumed at Huntington High School following a bomb threat that was discovered Tuesday and eventually cleared.

School officials said the threat, which was found written on a restroom wall, was determined to be not credible, according to a news release from Cabell County Schools.

Students, who were evacuated to the football field, were brought back into the school building around 10 a.m.

“Cabell County Schools takes threats like this very seriously, and anyone found responsible for making threats will face appropriate consequences,” the school system said in the news release.

West Virginia State Police and the Huntington Police Department responded to the school.
