I anchor WCHS Eyewitness News This Morning every weekday at 5 a.m., and FOX11's Eyewitness News This Morning at 7 a.m. You also can see me on the popular Eyewitness News Mobile Report at 11 a.m. available on smartphones and wchstv.com.
I have been with WCHS/WVAH since November 1999. Originally, I am from Washington, Pa., and have a bachelor's degree in journalism from West Virginia University, where I was a member of the student body Board of Governors and Pi Beta Phi sorority.
My start in television came right after graduation, in Wheeling, where I worked weekdays doing radio news and weekends reporting on TV. That rigorous schedule paid off with the transition into the dream of reporting and anchoring on television. I moved to the Charleston area after getting married, and am proud to call the Kanawha Valley home.
I have been honored numerous times by The Associated Press and West Virginia Broadcasters Association for news coverage and community service.
I am active in the community and charitable organizations. My husband and I have a daughter. Tennis, golfing, cooking and taking trips to the Clay Center and Oglebay Park with my family are among my hobbies, along with frequent trips to Pittsburgh for sporting events and shopping.
