HUNTINGTON, W.Va. (WCHS) — Kickoff times for three Marshall football games were announced Thursday.
The Thundering Herd’s home opener against Stony Brook is set for 5 p.m. on Aug. 31, according to a news release from Marshall Athletics. The game will also be streamed on ESPN+.
A week later, Marshall’s first nationally-televised contest of the season will see it travel to Virginia Tech for a 4:30 p.m. start. The game will be televised on The CW.
The Thundering Herd will also host Georgia State in a primetime game on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 17.
The contests were announced as part of ESPN’s television announcement with its conference affiliates on Thursday that covers Weeks 1-3 and select primetime games. The remaining games will be subject to a 12-day window.
