Man charged with arson after setting fire to a Huntington home, records show

A man was arrested Thursday and now faces charges after allegedly setting fire to a porch in Huntington last year, records show.

Anthony Omar Williams, 22, was charged with first-degree arson after Huntington police observed video of him setting fire to a home on the 1700 block of 7th Avenue, according to a criminal complaint filed with the Cabell County Magistrate Court.

Williams allegedly walked onto the front porch of the home and poured flammable liquid on the porch and front door of the residence before setting fire to the home causing significant damage.

There were four people in the house at the time.

Williams is being held at Western Regional Jail as he awaits trail.
