PUTNAM COUNTY, W.Va. (WCHS) — A new sheriff’s office is in the works in Putnam County.
Sheriff Bobby Eggleton said the new building will be state of the art and located in what they are calling the “judicial campus” behind the county courthouse.
The new facility has been under construction for nearly a year. They are hoping to have the building completed in mid-July.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening will be held once the project is completed.
