Hurricane Ernesto which made landfall on the tiny British Atlantic territory of Bermuda early Saturday was downgraded to a tropical storm by afternoon.

Ernesto’s large eye will likely be near or over Bermuda early Saturday morning, with significant coastal flooding expected.
