Shelby Burrough

I’ve lived in Fayette County my whole life and I'm excited to report news for my home state. I’m lucky I grew up in West Virginia, because I really couldn’t imagine myself anywhere else.

I went to school at Valley High School in Smithers, West Virginia and graduated from West Virginia State University. Shortly after, I joined the Eyewitness News team in June 2024.

In my free time you can find me reading a book, watching reality TV or spending time with family, including Minnie, my Boston terrier. I’m also a huge Disney fan and visit the parks any chance I get.
